THE LAST BATTLE

the whole thing begins with
THE FANATICS MARCHING AT NIGHT
through the center of town:

death sí!
funerals no!

death sí!
funerals no!

death sí!
funerals no!

THE ROBOTS OBSERVE THE MARCH FROM THEIR
ARMORED CARS

and it goes on the next day
ALL THROUGH THE RUSH HOUR
-between 1 and 2 in the afternoon-
UNDER A BOILING SUN
with a
PEACEFUL PROTEST BY THE FANATICS
wrapped up in sheets -with torches and hoods
RIGHT IN FRONT OF A FUNERAL PARLOR

In theory they don't bother anybody
in fact they do nothing
but sing and dance to the beat of a cumbia
REPEATING THESE TWO SLOGANS OVER AND OVER AGAIN

death sí!
funerals no!

death sí!
funerals no!

death sí!
funerals no!

BUT THE ROBOTS OBSERVE EVERYTHING CLOSELY
FROM THEIR ARMORED CARS

on the third day

THE FANATICS
HEAD PEACEFULLY FOR HOME

after hours of nonstop dancing
IN FRONT OF THE MONEDA PALACE
when suddenly the robots come on the scene
and the last battle begins
AND THE LAST BATTLE BEGINS
AND THE LAST BATTLE BEGINS!
